BDI G8 Business Summit – Growth and Responsibility
At the BDI G8 Business Summit, on 25 April 2007, in Berlin the leaders of the key industrial associations of the G8 countries came together.
They joined to present their thoughts on the most pressing global economic issues. Freedom for investment, intellectual property rights and climate protection were the main topics of the discussions. As a result a joint G8 Business Declaration was presented to Chancellor Angela Merkel for consideration at the G8 Summit in Heiligendamm at the beginning of June 2007. This brochure summarizes the main results of the BDI G8 Business Summit and includes the G8 Business Declaration.
