Over the passed years the economic importance of the Middle East has increased significantly for Germany and the European Union.

BDI supports the intensification of mutual business relations by informing its members about business opportunities, by creating platforms for business contacts and by lobbying the interests of German industry vis à vis political decision makers in Germany, Brussels and the partner countries in the region.
