The BDI Foreign Economic Report provides information on current foreign trade trends quarterly. It focuses on global economic developments and German foreign trade.

In total, German companies export more goods than any other country in the world. Exports consitute approx. half of German GDP. All in all, a quarter of jobs in Germany are dependent on foreign trade. To establish global economic ties is still one of Germany's key strategies for economic success.

The BDI Foreign Economic Report has been issued since 2000 and is sent to some 3000 readers from the worlds of politics, administration, business and academia every quarter; an English version of the BDI Foreign Economic Report is also available to an international readership. The results of the annual BDI survey on German industry's exports outlook will be presented in the autumn issue.

The BDI Foreign Economic Report provides information on the current activities in the BDI area Foreign Trade/International Relations as well as an overview of the main foreign trade dates/events.
