Facts & Figures

Facts & Figures provide an up-to-date overview of the economic development in Germany. The various economic areas are illustrated by charts and tables.

Statistical data is updated every month and based on primary data sources from the Federal Statistical Office, the Deutsche Bundesbank, the Federal Employment Agency and various economic research institutes such as the ifo Institute in Munich and the Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft in Cologne. Certain charts, such as those relating to national income or selected diagrams and tables on foreign trade, for example, are updated annually. Under "overview" in the right-hand column you can find charts and tables from the fields of business climate, incoming orders, production, labour market, prices, foreign trade, labour costs and national accounts.
